Why would I choose NationalPTI over other companies?

The typical Personal Trainer Certification is a textbook that you adopt and memorize towards passing a standardized test. After that test most of the information is gone or processed in a way that didn’t help you find your voice. It may check a box as far as hiring or insurance but that path is far from what will best prepare you for business success within this industry. We teach in a way that promotes adaptation and authenticity. Personal Training and Coaching is a mixture between art and science. Not only will you get the science but you will also get a heavy dose of the art of personal training. How long should it take me to complete my online continuing education (CEU) training?

Depending on the class you choose, the entire program may take 5 hours or up to 30 hours of time spent. The time spent is largely up to you. If you read, re-read, spend time on the reflections and worksheets, study, listen to the audio and videos, apply what you are learning instantly, it may take you longer than if you just read quick, take the quizzes and close out of the curriculum. You will get what you put into each class. Since the NationalPTI attracts individuals that value education and want to be the best they can be at their craft the classes will take you the allotted unit hour. These courses have been scored with the assumption that the student will take their time and really dig deep into each lesson. Please note: All Continuing Education (CEU) Programs have a maximum time to complete the class. This is set at 3 months from your date of purchase.

What happens if I don’t finish the CEU course within the 3-month timeframe?

If a student takes longer to complete the course than 3 months they will be required to pay the $59.00 recertification fee to regain access to the course. This doesn’t happen often as each CEU course is designed to only take 2 days – 2 weeks to complete.

One of the many things that sets the NationalPTI apart from the rest of the industry is, although you are taking the class online, you are set up in a way that makes the experience personal, almost as if you are in a physical classroom. You will be connected with your local Director and Instructor who will be in contact regularly to assist you in any and all questions you may have.

Will I have any hidden costs associated with completing this course?

There are no hidden costs. Our students are allotted the FREE final retake along with the two FREE quiz retakes built within the course. We want to build wonderful Personal Trainers and Coaches. Although test taking demonstrates a competency our goal is simply not to create wonderful test takers but wonderfully, empowered and authentic fitness professionals.

What happens if I fail a test?

You will have built in retakes within the quizzes as you navigate through the certification. You will get a FREE retake for the final exam. Our goal is to help build wonderful trainers and coaches. Just because you are NOT a good test taker does not mean you are not a wonderful Fitness Professional. And just because you ARE a wonderful test taker does not mean you will be a successful fitness professional. You need the mixture of art and science blending into your authentic voice. We will get you there! Plus, you take all of your exams in the comfort of your own home, so there isn’t the added stress of a testing center.

Are there study materials provided with the course?

The Online CPT Certification courses are all inclusive. All materials, manuals, tests, workbooks and course materials are all included. You do not have to worry about textbook updates that force you into purchasing the next generation book. That is not part of our business model.
